Install Sun Java 6 (Debian package: sun-java6-jre)
It is recommended to use the latest version from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/ Eclipse CDT - a distribution for C/C++ development

To avoid unresolved things, add them to Project -> Properties -> C/C++ General -> Paths and Symbols
